Now he sneaks down and takes out the little cutie while she is ensconced examining a curious makeshift door which leads directly to a ton of smuggled goods because yep, you guessed it, this place isn’t haunted at all, (well, it might be, but not in this one) and the fiend behind it all has been pushing, quite, the idea that there are spookies up here, keeping the townsfolk, and the old man, running scared!

He and his gang of smugglers have pulled it all off quite effectively, and they aren’t about to allow a couple of snooping girls to steer them off course and into jail cells! So he wastes no time in taking the redhead out and soon has her bound and gagged with a handkerchief pulled impossibly tightly over her pretty mouth. Now he lies in wait, for the other one... They know he is covering for his boss, Tony ‘Geese’ Portsea, a criminal mastermind just released from Pentonvile Nick and straight back into his Mr Big realm. This guy they are dealing with is in the man’s house. But the man himself is not. The girls want answers, and this mutt ain’t giving any! Having excused himself for a moment, the babes are getting antsy. What if he comes back with –?

Their worst fears are confirmed as he suddenly appears, standing there in the doorway, clutching a pearl-handled and barking orders. The ladies are to get their hands up, fast, and then get stripping. The boss has been called, and the order is in: DETAIN them! The plucky detectives play it fast, spitting venom at their aggressor as he fields it all effortlessly. It’ll take more than a few mean words to break him down.
