Two beauty pageant contestants tipped to win are staying a rental house near the venue where they'll be competing for state finals in the morning. They're unfamiliar with each other and not thrilled to be sharing living space for the weekend but up until now they've done their best to avoid each other. All of that changes when Tilly passes through to get a glass of water as Hannah's in the living room on the phone with her boyfriend. She's ordered a tanning service to come do her last spray tan for the contest. She's completely sure she'll, not a doubt whatsoever in her mind. She laughs outlaid and says in an airhead voice that she's not exactly up against stiff competition. The other girls are pretty square, as is happens. Tilly hears this and is livid. For starters, she doesn't believe Hannah will come out of the contest bearing a bunch of trophies as she claims. But secondly, to call her and the other contestants square, which they're obviously not, is wrong and mean-spirited. Definitely not the sort of attitude that will win her Ms. Congeniality. Tilly cautiously leans against the door frame and listens for more details. To her chagrin, it's just more boasting and set-agrandizing, nothing juicy and incriminating enough to bring to the judges attention, but Tilly overhears her laughing at something her boyfriend says, adding "yeah right babe, you know my hair gets frizzy when it's wet," and hatches the ultimate plan to humble this bitch!
