Medusa's Mayhem
"Legend states that Medusa was once a beautiful, avowed priestess of Athena who was cursed for breaking her vow of celibacy. When Medusa had an affair with the sea god Poseidon, Athena punished her. ... She turned Medusa into a hideous hag, making her hair into writhing snakes and her skin was turned a greenish hue."
No one ever heard my side of the story and I believe it's time I spoke my truth. Listen, Poseidon knew the consequences of his actions and yet he was captivated by my young beauty. So in truth, jealousy lead to this "curse" done by a wicked, bitter bitch. Blame me and not the man? How cliche of you, Athena. But carrying on, though I was placed under a spell, I use it on lowly, weak men like yourselves to create an entourage of worshipping addicts. You'll know nothing more from this point forward than Medusa. Your deep stare will lead you to an untimely fate and that's what makes me..Medusa. Beautiful, haunting and desired by all.
