"You're a piece of nothing" ... so the scene with Vera and her photographer, in the middle of a photo set, began.
Vera is a high fashion model, the photographer in question an emerging one. What did he do to deserve to be on the ground sneezed at Vera's feet? Nothing ... Vera is an overwhelming despot, who always feels in the right to command and direct everyone. So the blame of the photographer is just he did not take enough photos in Vera’s favorite poses. After shooting, she threatens to ruin him, him to suffer a "penance" in order to maintain some kind of reputation. Otherwise he will no longer have a career.
