My Painful Arch II
I walk in the house after a long day at work. I'm wearing high heels, jeans, and a tank top.
I complain about how my foot still hurts from when I tripped over the carpet rug last week. I walk with difficulty through the house to my couch to sit. I rest my painful foot on my knee and massage my sore arch. I talk to myself about how I went to the doctor to have my foot checked out and see if he could make it heal faster. The doctor told me to deeply massage the sore spots, but other than that I just need to wait for it to heal.
I continue rubbing the arch and point out the spots that hurt and which spots are okay. I decide to try walking on it to see if that will help. I walk with difficulty back and forth on the floor, grabbing my foot every so often to rub it.
After walking around for a bit, I accidentally step on a small toy that my step-daughter had left out, and I fall to the ground in pain! I complain about how I probably injured my arch even worse. It looks like I need to go back to the foot doctor! I walk haltingly out of the room.
