GIRL GOT LOST IN TIME - FACE SLAPPING
SCRIPT:
A dimly lit room. A GIRL jolts awake on a couch. She’s wearing unfamiliar dress (too skimpy for her taste). Her eyes dart around—this is NOT her apartment.
GIRL - What the hell…?
She grips the blanket, scanning the room. It’s clean, modern, but eerily impersonal. A faint city glow seeps through the curtains.
She swings her legs off the couch, hesitates, then stands. Her bare feet sink into a plush carpet. She takes a deep breath, panic creeping in.
GIRL (thinking aloud) Okay… Think. What happened last night?
She rubs her temples. Nothing. A blank slate. But then—a flicker of memory.
FLASHBACK:
She’s in her own bedroom, looking out the window at a dull cityscape.
GIRL (tired, to herself) God, I wish I could just wake up in New York.
She flops onto the bed, eyes closing.
BACK TO PRESENT:
GIRL Oh. Oh no.
She looks around, suspicious.
GIRL Okay, so... either I’m dreaming. Or I got taken away. Or— (beat, whispers) —aliens? Ghosts?
She checks her arms. No weird marks. No scars. Still human. Probably.
"Oh damn, but why is my bladder is so fucking full. I even don't know where's the fucking toilet! What's my name? Where's my phone? Do I have any friends at all to whom to call? " - she shouts.
She crawls to the wall and starts peeing in a stranger's apartment.
GIRL Okay. So either I really wished myself here, or someone—something—granted my wish.
(beat)
I don’t know if I should be excited or terrified.
FADE TO BLACK.
Girl wakes up again at the same place. She lying again on the same couch but now she has 2 tampons in her nose. What the heck? Who am I? What's my name? Where I'm at? And who the fuck put these 2 tampons into my nose? What's going on?
FADE TO BLACK.
