Weigh me down
The water greets him like an old lover — cool, heavy, accepting. He steps down the ladder, breath controlled, a slow exhale escaping through his nose.
Blue cap. Tight goggles. A weight belt hugs his waist — just enough to keep him grounded.
As he slips below the surface, time bends. Movements stretch. His body, broad and solid, floats like sculpture, every gesture deliberate. He reaches, not to escape, but to feel.
Viewers watching from above see a figure transformed — not trapped, but held by the water. The performance isn’t about danger. It’s about trust.
And stillness.
And the freedom found in surrender.
