Rick is tired of Mary's out-of-control spending, partying till all hours of the night, and he has had enough. He decides to confront her about nthis and in a fit to regain control of their situation, she tells him she will leave and it is simply more than he can bear. The battle wages on and she decides to take refuge in their pool hoping her strong swimming skills coupled with his middle age and poor health will fuel a victory for her but she doesn't count on the rage that fuels him. He dunks her over and over again, turning her upside down onto her back and eventually her mouth open to accept the water that will come rushing in.
