Vivian Blows a Double-Stuffed Q16 (MP4)
Vivian is back with a continuation of her study of the Qualatex 16" round balloon. Previously, she established a baseline pressure measurement for a blown-to-bursting green Q16. Now she has stuffed another green Q16 inside a clear Q16. She knows this one will be harder, but is still determined to use her well-toned face muscles to keep her cheeks from inflating. This is made tougher by the fact that she is using a mouthpiece (to be able to measure pressure), that does not allow her to close her lips, and no check valve, which requires her to manage the pressure by closing her throat between breaths. Nevertheless, she succeeds at this for quite a while, but as the balloon begins to reach full size, she begins to struggle and make funny noises, which leads to several pauses fits of laughter. She remarks "as it's getting bigger it's puffing up my mouth!" Eventually, she gives in and lets her cheeks fill, and pushes on to a spectacular explosion.
