Samantha Woodley Caned
Samantha Woodley gets 27 strokes of the cane.
This scene is a testament to the effectiveness of the cane in changing attitudes. Samantha starts out defiant, which may be very brave of her but not so smart considering she is about to get her first taste of a ‘Professor Templeton caning’. When sent to ‘fetch the cane’ she announces that she is not afraid and instead of handing it to him, she drops it on the floor and refuses to pick it up. This defiant attitude persists even after he has started to cane her. She refuses to count the strokes and so he decides he will carry on until she has a change of heart. 12 strokes later she is still defiant but on stroke number 14 she starts to get the message that it might be smart to show some remorse (and to start counting). Unfortunately though she gets the count wrong and earns herself extra strokes. After 21 strokes she finally shows a real change of attitude and pleads that she has had enough and that she is truly sorry for all the things she said. He tells her that she will be even sorrier after the next 6 strokes, (which she finally counts correctly) for a total of 27. FULL SCREEN VERSION.
