Maria Moon: Waiting to Get Wet
In the camp where Maria has been detained, she has been brought to one of the prisoner showers on a hot day. Hands tied behind her back, mouth gagged to irritate and make her incomprehensible, she waits.
And waits.
And waits.
She is tied under the shower head, but there is no water coming out. This is a shower that covers the entire bathroom, so there's no stall for it, just a toilet nearby. Maria was told she would be given a shower, but nothing.
It's been nearly an hour standing there. Had they forgotten about her. How could they?
