Description
The first half of the show ended with an instant MWC classic! Gabby and Warrior produced an extremely high level, technically skilled and intense encounter that will live long in the memory.
Such is each fighter’s ability, both from an attacking and defensive aspect, that it felt like every single slight wrong move would cost the unfortunate girl a submission.
The tension and pressure built up as the fight continued, especially with the crowd sitting in anticipation wondering what was going to occur.
Warrior tried to use her specialist choking techniques but found herself also trying to evade Gabi the lock master!
Each fighter tried to exert their influence on how the match progressed as both sought to get an impressive win under their belt.
Their technical skills were a pure joy to watch and the admirable grit and determination, along with textbook defensive and attacking moves on display meant that each submission was rare but hard earned.
Neither wanted to give in easily and this made it a really entertaining bout for all to savour. An excellent first half finale!
