Halloween Safety Belt
Nyxon and I are ready for some Halloween fun! We're all dressed up and on our way to a party. But even though we're excited we still remember that safety is important, so we make sure to put on our seat belts before we drive away. Even though we are wearing costumes, and we don't want them to wrinkle, we realize that wearing a seat belt is necessary while driving or riding in a car. Halloween is fun, but there are always reckless drivers out on the road. Besides there will be people walking around on the streets, and we may have to stop short. Nyxon and I pull our seat belts tight across our chests, making sure they fit snugly around our waists. My car is very modern and safe, I never worry about my safety belt malfunctioning. Nyxon and I talk about our seat belt practices. We ALWAYS wear one while in the car, even if it's just a trip down the road. I tell her about how my step-mom was very strict about making us wear one when I was growing up. At last we decide it's time to get to the party before we're late. We give our safety belts one last check and drive away.
