Caught AWOL
Corporal Bennett brings in James who has been caught AWOL down the pool hall when he was meant to be on drill. He is going to be punished. Miss Jessica orders him to take his shoes off then pulls down his trousers and has him bend over a table where she gives him 24 hard slipper strokes, making him count every one. THe first 12 are on the pants, then the other 12 on the bare. After this, Miss Jessica gets a cane and whilst telling him off, lets him know he is going to get 50 judicial strokes of the cane. After they finally hit 50, his bottom looks very red and sore and he is ordered back onto drill duties.
