Cranking 15; The Seized Starter
Following on from Cranking 14, I filmed this video whilst my car was on the driveway awaiting the new starter motor; that after my friend's husband found the first one He ordered for me to be faulty. I REALLY needed to go out! The starter wasn't completely seized but would go ru-------ru-------ru really slowly. There had been a couple of occasions over the course of the few days where I had actually managed to start it and thought I might be able to do so again on this particular day.
Sadly it wasn't to be! I think this is the most frustrated I've ever been with my car, the fact that it just obstinately refused to start for me. Had the starter done its job I'd have got it going, but instead I repeatedly got "ru----ur----click.....ru----ur----click". I think its going to be a pretty sexy video for You Guys but I should say that the long periods of me trying to start the car that some guys look for does not feature in this video. Give it a go though; I did! I wear light brown sheer hold ups with my diamante peep toe shoes. Later in the video I take my shoes off and pump the pedals in my nylon covered feet.
