Jokers Throne - Elli
Subject: Volunteer Elli – Upper Body Tickle Sensitivity Experiment
Restraint Apparatus: Joker’s Throne (Backbend Arch Configuration)
Primary Focus: Baseline upper-body sensitivity analysis (previously untested regions)
Restraint Specifications:
Wrists: Attached to biceps (maximal underarm exposure)
Torso: Wide strap across midsection (bare midriff immobilized)
Lower Body:
Ankles elevated, bare feet secured in open position
Inner thighs held laterally (unrestricted access to medial quadriceps/sartorius regions)
Stimuli Application Protocol:
Baseline Measurements (Bare-Hand Tactile):
Underarms: Light circular motions (10-second intervals) → Immediate reflexive contraction of pectoralis region.
Abdominal region: Sequential tracing along intercostal spaces → Diaphragmatic spasms observed at T7-T9.
Inner thighs: Alternating proximal/distal strokes → Consistent adductor twitching; laughter amplitude increased by 38% vs. plantar stimulation.
Comparative Stimulus (Terrorizer 2.0 Gloves – 90-second exposure):
Applied to underarms only. Notable shift from giggles to truncated, high-pitched vocalizations (see Spectrogram #3).
Post-removal: Bare-hand retesting showed 22% prolonged sensitivity in axillary region.
Terminal Phase (Full-Region Retest):
Sustained stimuli to ribs/midriff produced cumulative breath disruption (5-second apnea post-30-second exposure).
Feet remained reactive despite non-focal attention (suggesting cross-region neural feedback).
Results Summary:
Highest Reactivity: Medial thighs > underarms > lower ribs.
Delayed Fatigue: Abdominal region retained sensitivity longest (14% decline over 8 minutes vs. 31% in axillary zone).
Equipment Note: Terrorizer gloves induced faster peak response but shorter recovery time vs. manual methods.
Recommendations for Future Trials:
Test staggered restraint angles (lateral vs. dorsal arch) to isolate ribcage mobility effects.
Compare vibration tools vs. textured gloves on iliac crest region.
