As she examined the documents, a woman and a masked man appeared behind her, armed with ropes. She was quickly subdued. The man bound her hands while the woman clamped a hand over her mouth to stifle any scream. Then, the masked woman removed Hare’s panties and shoved them into her mouth to silence her for good; the man handed her a long strip of cloth to secure the gag and ensure total silence. Once that was done, the man proceeded—with speed and professionalism—to bind Hare’s arms and torso.
