My name is April O'Neel, I'm a reporter for Channel 6 News. I was covering a story about a intermolecular generator LIVE, when cats started circling around my feet. One even bit me! When I drove home, there were several cats waiting for me in my car!I went into my duplex home, which I share with my best girlfriend, and the cats followed me inside. I tried my best to "shoo" them away, but still they followed me as if they were attached to me! Oh, how stressful! I am just trying to do my job, be a professional reporter, and now I look like some sort of cat hoarder.. as if the cats were mine.
I manage to keep them out of my bedroom as I call out for my girlfriend. I feel hot, woozy, and I wonder if that bite gave me something.. or is it the stress from the day? I shuffle through my drawer for a I need to unwind.. I look at myself in the mirror, I say to myself, "April, get yourself together.. breathe, it's going to be allrig..." *Woosh* My head pangs! I close my eyes and I look at myself closer, are my blue eyes changing shape? Are they getting even bluer, cat-like?! My gums ache. I look at my teeth. The human canines in my mouth grow large, cat-like!
I laugh to myself.. "How silly.. this medicine is really making me hallucinate. Maybe I will just take a cat nap." I lay down and start to doze off... my friend bursts in the door in a panic.
"April! Our landlord doesn't allow cats!" She is holding a bowl of milk. I am still hot, from the stress likely? I take off my professional one piece reporting suit. "Of course I know the landlord doesn't allow them.. I was hoping that you'd help shoo them away. I take the bowl of milk from her. I know it's for the cats, but I am so thirsty. I get down on all fours and *lap, lap, lap." My lapping makes milk splash up on my eyebrow. I lick my paw and smooth out my eyebrow.
I get on the bed. I have a terrible itch on my ears, right behind where I can't scratch easily. I ask her for help. She helps me scratch and she watches my human ears transform into cat ears!
She tries to tell me about it.. but oh.. I can't concentrate on what she has to say, I want my butt scratched. "Please.." I ask her, forgetting my human manners, and my friend curiously obliges and scratches my itching ass. Hair grows down my spine, and a tail starts to form. Nipples grow, little sensitive nipples underneath my own!
I talk and mew at her about the story I am covering. "The police are looking for this rat.. a rat.. Hmmm... now that sounds yummy." What do yeww sssssaay I bring home a rat for ssssupper. Mew and you can eat together." The idea of it is all I can think about! I'll capture him! I ask her to open the window for me, it's not quick enough! I jump out the glass window.. I need to find this rat! Meo-rawwrrr!
