Allegra's Shoe Comparison on Piston Pump (MP4)
Allegra tries out a few different types of shoes on our classic high-pressure pump stand, which contains a dual piston pump and a valve, both of which require considerable toe flexing to operate fully. For this reason, we typically recommend flat sandals with thin soles that attach at the heel or ankle, but encourage our technicians to bring in a selection of shoes to see what is most comfortable and effective for them.In this experiment, Allegra tries a pair of high-heeled wedges, a pair of closed-toe flats, a pair of strappy flat sandals, and a pair of simple black thong sandals. Her preference changes throughout the test, so feel free to draw your own conclusions.
