EPISODE ONE SYNOPSIS: After the loss of her beloved husband and feeder, Edith Swinehart (IVY DAVENPORT) inherits the vast Swinehart estate, farming operation, and the fortune it has built. Beneath her polished exterior, however, grief festers into a dangerous obsession with obesity, feeding, and weight gain. When she discovers a letter left behind by her late husband urging her to carry on his legacy of fattening, Edith realizes she has no choice but to fulfill his wishes. Convinced this requires an extraordinary sacrifice, Edith decides that rather than continue gaining herself, she must turn her attentions outward.

That same night, a young woman named Samantha Trotter (MEL HEFLIN) arrives seeking employment. When Edith sees Samantha, she sees more than just a supple young farmhand; she sees an opportunity to make Oliver proud. Drawn into the mysterious barn under the promise of opportunity, Samantha soon finds herself trapped in an endless cycle of feeding and fattening. As Edith's fixation spirals, her feeding regimen escalates into more extreme tactics. Pastries are simply not enough. She resorts to around-the-clock feedings, a giant trough of hog slop, and even fashions a crude feeding machine designed to pump her beloved piggy full of fattening weight-gain shake. Edith is a woman possessed, and soon enough, one piggy won't be enough to satisfy her cravings.
