Swimming pumps
At the pool, on a hot summers day. I am wearing black patent leather heels with red soles and they are just about to be completely ruined. I am sat down on the pool deck, drizzling water over My legs, skirt and pumps. Slowly, I lower My shoes into the water, dipping each one in and out filling them with water and lifting them to feel the water run out again. I then completely submerge My high heeled feet into the water and move them around. Standing on the step inside the pool, I slowly ease my body down into the water, again submerging in and out. My shiny, soaked skirt sparkling in the sun. At last I dive into the water, My red soles are the last below the surface. Swimming around in the pumps, I know I am going to completely ruin them. After swimming, I glide out of the pool and step onto the deck with My water filled pumps, sloshing with each step. The water escapes between My toes from inside My pumps. As I turn around, the heel gets caught in the wooden deck and I feel it breaking. I carry on walking, the heel breaks further with each step until it is completely ruined.
