Francesca is no longer jumping around, like previous rounds; she is hurting from the beating she took in the last round. The bell rings and she comes out right into several of Darrius’ jabs to her face. She is unable to avoid or block as her head gets snapped back. She tries to fight back but with little effect. Francesca’s head becomes a speed bag for Darrius jabs. Darrius lets loose a huge hook that puts Francesca on the ropes. Now he works over her tight stomach against the ropes. They embrace in a clinch and start to trade body blows back and forth. As they move apart they start to go upstairs with their punches, trying to put the other on the canvas. It’s only the bell that saves them both from indisposed as both boxers head to their corners. The sixth round starts with both fighters hurt but determined. Darrius swings first with two hooks to Francesca’s jaw, but she fires back with two hooks of her own. Defense and strategy are out the window as they both let their gloves fly. Francesca hits the canvas only to be pulled up by Darrius. He quickly regrets that as a few good combos from Francesca put him on the canvas. Big hooks crosses and uppercuts find homes on Darrius and Francesca’s body. Darrius starts to pick up the pace and take over a bit more but Francesca is still in the fight with him.
