You Skype me and tell me that you have decided to quit smoking. You talk to me for 2 minutes about how terrible and miserable you feel but that you are worried that you are smoking too much and that you think I must want you to quit as it costs money and you smell like smoke. I tell you that I support whatever decision you make whether you keep smoking or quit. You smile. You tell me you’re very grateful and will go buy some cigarettes! You come back and pull out a cigarette and light it and inhale deeply and talk about how nice it is to be smoking again
