I pop a few gummies while smiling down at you, knowing you’ll want some too. I pretend to hesitate, hand you a couple, and watch you shrink smaller and smaller until you’re a tiny helpless gummy bear on the floor. That’s when the sweet act drops. I laugh in your face and tell you I was sick of dealing with you and this was the plan all along. I wanted you tiny and powerless so I could finally get rid of you. I stand over you and taunt you with my big soft feet, hovering while you squirm and try to crawl away. I could end you in one step and turn you into a sticky stain on my sole, or swallow you later. For now I just love the rush of watching you panic under my foot with nowhere to go.
I thought stomping you would finish it, but you survived. Since you’re a gummy bear now I lick you up, toss you on my tongue, and swallow you in one gulp. That’s when my belly starts hurting and bloating. I call the friend I got the magic gummies from and she tells me the shrinking was only temporary. I shouldn’t have eaten you. You’ll probably unshrink completely while you’re inside me and there’s nothing I can do. I get off the phone and panic as my stomach keeps growing until it’s huge. I call her again freaking out, asking how this happened and what I’m supposed to do. I have a date later and there’s no way I can show up looking nine months pregnant with triplets. I punch my belly, bounce on it, lay on it, and try everything, but nothing works. I’m stuck like this and have to wait it out. Who knows how long it’ll take for my belly to go back to normal. I guess digestion has to sort this out.
