The Roaster Coaster - Kira Starr
This experiment explores the correlation between controlled thermal application to the plantar surface and a quantifiable increase in gargalesis (ticklish) reactivity.
The subject, Specimen Kira Star, is rendered completely immobile to isolate the dependent variable of dermal sensitivity. The methodology employs a multi-stage protocol:
Phase 1 involves full-body encasement and affixation;
Phase 2 is the controlled application of a thermal accelerant and a directed radiant heat source to the soles;
Phase 3 is the cessation of thermal stimulus upon the subject reaching a pre-defined threshold, immediately followed by a calibrated tickling assessment. The hypothesis posits that the thermal pre-treatment will tenderize the dermal layers, resulting in a profound amplification of the subject’s neurological response to tactile stimulation.
