Reversal of Experimental Authority: Sadistic Threshold Response in a Full-Time Submissive Following Role Inversion at FetishLabs

Abstract
This study investigates whether a day of sustained exposure as an experimental test subject increases sadistic capacity when the subject is subsequently granted full, unrestricted authority over the lab director. A single volunteer subject (Caitlin, n=1), the director's full-time lifestyle submissive, completed a 250-question Sadistic Threshold Inventory (STI-250) upon entry, endured months of bondage and tickling-based trial exposures, then assumed the role of experimenter against the restrained director. The STI-250 was re-administered immediately following the vengeance period. Results indicate a statistically significant elevation in sadistic response, with the absence of standard subject restrictions producing a marked divergence from prior restricted-subject data. Findings are discussed in relation to power-role fluidity, consensual sadism, and the intensifying effect of relational intimacy on role inversion.
Introduction
Prior FettishLabs trials have consistently positioned the volunteer as the subject and the director as the experimenter. Little data exists on the psychological effect of reversing this dynamic, particularly when the volunteer is the director's real-life partner and full-time submissive. This study tests the hypothesis that a full day of exposure to being the test subject increases sadism when the opportunity for retaliation is presented, and that the lifting of standard subject limitations amplifies that effect.
Hypothesis
H?: Following a day of exposure as a test subject, a volunteer granted unrestricted authority over the director will demonstrate increased sadistic threshold scores on the STI-250 relative to baseline.
H?: Sadistic threshold remains unchanged; baseline persists regardless of role inversion.
Methodology
Subject
Volunteer/Experimenter: Caitlin, full-time lifestyle submissive to the director. Baseline STI-250 administered on entry.
Restrained Director/Subject: Derek, Director and Primary Experimenter, FettishLabs.
Procedure
Phase 1 – Baseline: STI-250 completed on entry; scores recorded and sealed.
Phase 2 – Trial Exposure: Months of bondage and tickling-based trials with Caitlin as subject, standard restrictions applied throughout.
Phase 3 – Restraint of Director:
Director secured in a straitjacket
Director for the first time will NOT be gagged
Affixed to the Tickle Therapy chair
Each leg strapped down with 2-inch wide leather straps
Ankles encased in Director's own stocks
Toes bound backward to fix feet in full flex position
Pinned to the back of the chair to immobilize the torso and concentrate focus on the feet
Phase 4 – Vengeance Experiment: Caitlin granted full, unrestricted access to all available tools and techniques, with no limits imposed. (Standard subject restrictions, which apply to all other volunteers in this position, were explicitly lifted for Caitlin only.)
