Long cardiopulmonary resuscitation with Silverfox
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) involves artificial respiration and indirect heart massage. These actions are aimed at restoring breathing in a person whose heart has stopped or who is not breathing.
Step 1: Chest compressions
Place the heel of your hand in the middle of the chest (between the nipples).
Place your other hand on top, interlocking your fingers.
Press down hard and rhythmically, 100–120 times per minute — this is roughly the tempo of the song “Stayin' Alive.”
Keep your arms straight. Press down so that the chest moves 5–6 cm and then releases back up.
Step 2: Artificial respiration
Tilt the head back.
Give two strong breaths into the victim's mouth to raise the chest. You May Also Like
