Jarlyn pumps the pedal while wearing flip-flops.
Jarlyn heads down to the parking garage to warm up her old Fiat 147, dressed in a short dress and flip-flops for a summer day. The car is acting up and won't start for her, but she’s determined—she won't be happy until she gets it running. She pumps the pedal insistently, but the car is weak; it sputters and tries to fire up but just can't manage it—it’s too sluggish.
