00019 # intense smokin lucky strike
I'm really tired, lying on my bed. I'm still, almost helpless. The only energy I have is used for smoking. I'm like a device on standby. There's a pack of Lucky Strikes within reach. What do you want me to do? I take out a cigarette and light it without thinking! Damn, I always have a lit cigarette. I don't even remember when I lit it. My mind is like a flat encephalogram. My eyes are fixed on the void. The TV speaks to itself, in silence. I neither watch nor listen to anything. My smoking habit is an automatic vice, without pause, without planning, without restraint. I light up, smoke, put it out, light up, smoke, put it out, light up... and so on. Here I have lit a very soft Lucky Strike. It accompanies my laziness in the hours after work. The ash grows longer, puff after puff, just like my daily struggles. The ash grows longer like the inexorable passing of time. Nothing wakes me from this daydream. Not even the ash when it falls on me, on the bed, on my clothes. I don't know where it fell. I'll rest on it
