Cold Start Festival
My cars have been sitting for a while so I decided to start them and warm up the engines.
I also took the chance to wear my new high heels.
I started with the Ford, which didn’t give me much trouble this time.
Then I moved on to the old Beetle. The battery was very weak, but it still managed to start.
Finally, I went to the Opala, and that one really gave me a hard time and left me angry and frustrated.
It took many minutes to start, and when it finally showed signs of life, it kept shutting off and couldn’t stay running.
I tried using the choke, but I think I only made things worse.
Every time it started, I pressed the gas pedal all the way down to keep it running.
