Jeanette came in for a check-up after her appendectomy to assess the condition of her scar. The doctor carefully examined the large area along her right side where a long, slightly raised scar ran. Each time the probe touched her skin, she felt a slight chill and a barely noticeable pressure. The doctor paid close attention to the scar, checking for any hidden complications or signs of inflammation. Then, he moved to her navel, where some remnants of the surgery were still visible. It was a bit tender, and the doctor gently pressed to ensure everything was fine. The ultrasound screen showed smooth lines and no signs of problems. The doctor nodded with satisfaction. Everything looks good here. The internal tissues are healing perfectly. Jeanette sighed with relief and smiled, feeling the weight of her worries lift. "The scar looks impressive," the doctor added with a light smile, "but with this care, it will soon be barely noticeable.
