My perfect dirty socks WMV
A draft blew the flowerpot off. Soil fell onto the floor.I sighed quietly and went to get the broom. I swept slowly, taking my time. My white socks instantly turned gray—they caught every speck of dust, every piece of leaf. When the floor was clean again, I put the broom in the corner and sat down in the chair. I stretched my feet out on the ottoman—like a reward after a little chaos. The socks definitely didn't look white anymore; bits of earth and dust had stuck to my feet. They also smelled wet and earthy. I like to sit like that, feeling them on my feet, inhaling the scent of dirty socks.Evening turned to night. I was still wearing the same socks—dirty, but in their own way, beloved.
