Superwoman on a FAT pause SD
She was once a legend in the city. A superwoman who showed up at just the right moment ??catching criminals, stopping robberies, saving people from danger. Thanks to her, the city became calm and safe. Too calm. Now, crime is almost nonexistent. She's lying in her home, the TV remote in her hand, a pile of food on the table in front of her. She lazily flips through the channels, occasionally reaching for another bite of something delicious. Chips. Cookies. A sandwich. She eats and watches TV. Time passes. She eats again. The city is quiet. No alarms. No one calls her to save the world. She's bored. She sighs, takes another bite, and settles back into her chair. Day after day passes more or less the same way: TV, couch, fridge... and more food. And then bang! A notification flashes on her laptop. A message for help. She instantly perks up. Her eyes light up. Finally! She jumps up and rushes to the closet where her superhero costume hangs. But when she tries to put it on, it turns out that over the course of her quiet life, the costume has become too small. She tugs at the fabric. She pulls it on with difficulty. The costume resists, but she stubbornly continues. After a few minutes of struggling, it finally fits on her, though stretched to the limit. Now the boots. She bends over, tries to put them on but her noticeably rounded belly prevents her from reaching her feet. She huffs, grumbles, twists, and finally, with an effort, manages to zip the boots up. She straightens up and suddenly her gaze falls on the table. There is a small cake there. She freezes. She looks at the cake. Then at the door. Then at the cake again. "Well just one piece," she decides. A minute later, the cake is gone. She licks her fork, sighs contentedly, and tries to rise from her chair. But the chair unexpectedly holds her tighter than she'd like. She pushes with her arms. She tries to rock. Nothing. She tries to jump. The chair creaks. She tries again, harder. CRACK! The chair gives way... and collapses beneath her with a loud crunch. Superwoman finds herself on the floor among the rubble, breathing heavily and staring at the ceiling. Her laptop continues to flash an alarm nearby. The city needs a hero again. But first, the hero will have to get out of the broken chair. ?
