A Bad Morning: Burp After Burp SD 720
Jeanette’s morning started normally. She was in the kitchen making breakfast — frying a flatbread with sausage in a pan. Next to her was her favorite cold Sprite. Jeanette happily ate her breakfast, took several big sips of Sprite, and leaned back in her chair, feeling satisfied. But soon, something started to rumble in her stomach. She put a hand on her belly and listened. A loud rumbling sound came from inside. A few seconds later, her belly became noticeably rounder. Jeanette got up from the table, but immediately felt another wave of bloating. Her belly was getting bigger and harder. She had to walk slowly to the other room, holding her belly with both hands.On the way, burps kept coming from inside her, one after another. Jeanette tried to ignore them, but her belly continued to grow.When she reached the room, she sat down on the sofa and gently pressed on her belly, hoping to let the gas out. She pressed the top and the sides, then rubbed her belly with her hands. Nothing helped.Instead, her belly became even bigger. “What is happening?” Another burp interrupted her words. And then another one. Jeanette looked at the clock. She had to get ready for work. She stood up and walked over to her jeans. She tried to button them. The button would not close.Jeanette sucked in her belly and tried again, but the button was nowhere near the buttonhole. She looked down.Her belly was already sticking out over the waistband of her jeans.“No… not now.”She tried to button them again, but it was impossible. Another burp made her stop.Jeanette sighed and sat back down on the sofa.A few seconds later, she tried to stand up again, but her bloated belly made it difficult to bend and get up. She lost her balance and fell back onto the sofa.Now she just sat there, holding her huge, bloated belly with both hands.Her stomach started rumbling again.Another burp.And another one.Jeanette looked at the clock and realized that she definitely was not going to work right now.
