The Harsh Dental Exam
Dentist Mei enters the room and greets her patient Jim. She greets him and asks when was the last time he was in to the dentist. Unhappy with what she hears, she has him lay down, and asks if he has any pain or sensitivity, and when he says he has a bit, demands that he be more specific. She puts on her white latex gloves and gives him an extraoral exam, checking for jaw clicking and swollen lymph nodes. She asks how often he is brushing and flossing, and is unhappy with the answer. She digs around his mouth with the explorer and scaler, and he yells from how much it hurts due to the plaque and buildup. After a bit of this, she uses the periodontal probe to check if he has bone loss. Getting more and more irritated with him, she brings our her handheld drill to get rid of the infected areas, as Jim yells louder from the pain. After she takes care of all of this, the video ends with her scolding him to visit more frequently.
