The story of Agent Patty continues, and the scattered pieces are finally beginning to form a disturbing picture.
Everything that has happened to her inside the mysterious asylum may have had one purpose from the very beginning - to break down the identity of the confident agent who entered this place and gradually replace it with someone completely different.
Patty found evidence that members of the male staff were secretly indulging in dark fetish games with women inside the asylum. That information was never supposed to leave these walls.
And what better way to neutralize the agent who discovered it than to make Agent Patty herself disappear?
Not physically. But by turning the woman who knows too much into a silent resident whose story would sound impossible to anyone outside.
In Episode 6, Patty once again finds herself in the familiar room with the enormous full-length mirror.
By now, the purpose of this strange ritual is becoming clearer.
Patty is wrapped tightly in her straitjacket, her mouth secured behind a harness gag, her legs restrained with straps and an additional belt holding her already immobilized arms even more securely against her body.
Then she is positioned directly in front of the mirror.
Again. And again.
The same ritual is repeated until the helpless woman Patty sees reflected back at her begins to feel more and more familiar. At first, Patty rejects it completely.
She cries, struggles and desperately searches the reflection for the confident agent she remembers being. But something has begun to change.
After so much time staring at herself this way, the image no longer feels quite as alien as it once did.
Through her tears, Patty starts noticing details she never wanted to appreciate before.
The straitjacket tightly outlines her waist. The leather harness of the gag frames her face with an almost deliberate elegance. The additional restraint around her arms makes the silhouette even more compact, while the straps around her legs complete the strange image staring back from the glass.
And for the first time, Patty catches herself thinking that perhaps the reflection does not look entirely wrong.
That realization may frighten her more than the restraints themselves.
Because if Agent Patty can begin to like the woman she sees in the mirror…
perhaps the process is already working.
And perhaps it is almost complete.
