I pause and smile.

Finally, I pick you up.

I slowly bring you closer to my face… closer and closer to my lips.
You think you know exactly what’s about to happen.
But at the last second, I stop.
“No. Too easy.” I put you back down and walk away. Maybe I’ve changed my mind. Maybe you’re safe.
Maybe I’m going to let you stay tiny and forget all about my hunger.
Then you hear my voice again.
“Actually…”
I’m back. And this time, one look at my face tells you that I’ve made my decision. After all, you were the one who told a hungry Princess Diana not to eat.
Now you’re tiny, I’m still hungry… and you’re starting to look like the perfect little dinner.
