After 15 years together, my boyfriend broke my heart… and I completely fell apart.
I turned on the camera during one of the worst moments of my life. My chest felt heavy, my heart was shattered, and I couldn’t stop crying. The tears just kept coming, and at times I was shaking from how overwhelmed I felt.
My nose wouldn’t stop running. Thick, bubbly snot kept dripping as I tried over and over to blow my nose. My boyfriend handed me toilet paper, encouraging me to keep blowing because it seemed endless. The tissue became completely soaked, so wet that it could barely absorb anything anymore. It started falling apart in my hands from being saturated.
The crying never seemed to end. My makeup was destroyed. Foundation smeared across my face, mascara streamed down with every tear, and my eyes became red and swollen. My entire face looked puffy from hours of sadness and heartbreak.
This is a real breakdown, real tears, real snot, real sadness. No acting. Just one of the most painful moments I’ve ever experienced captured on camera.
