ROUTINE HAIR
The warm water falls on my hair, sliding between each strand until it is completely soaked. With my hands open, I massage my scalp, feeling how the water begins to soften the residue of the day. I take a portion of shampoo and rub it between my palms before applying it. The aroma is released, filling the space with a fresh fragrance.
My fingers run over my scalp, pressing gently, as if to awaken each dormant root. The circular movements are almost a ritual, a delicate dance between foam and skin. I feel the tension dissolve with each turn.
The water runs again, taking the soap and any trace of impurity. I take the conditioner, spreading it from the middle of my hair to the ends. I let it rest, as if giving it time to whisper softness to each strand. Meanwhile, I close my eyes, allowing the warmth of the water to mix with the stillness of that moment.
