FARTS ON MY TEDDY BEAR
Today I'm wearing my yellow shorts, the ones that always stand out because of their bright color. I settled into my big gray armchair, the one that takes up almost the entire living room and where I usually collapse when I need a moment of peace. The gray of the armchair contrasts beautifully with the yellow of my clothes, and everything looks even more striking in the light streaming through the window.
In my hands, I'm holding my stuffed, a big, soft one that I use to lean against when I'm lying down staring at the ceiling or my phone. This time, I placed it under me, like a small, fluffy cushion, and let myself fall onto it. The stuffed is a little squashed under my weight, but it's still comfortable and soft, perfect for lying there without moving much.
While I'm leaning against the stuffed, relaxed on my gray armchair, I start letting out several farts, one after another. The sound breaks the silence of the room and even makes the stuffed vibrate a little beneath me. I remain calm, not moving too much, letting them out whenever they feel like it, without rushing or embarrassing myself, because I'm alone in the comfort of my own space.
The gray armchair, my yellow shorts, the squashed stuffed beneath me, and my farts filling the moment… it all forms a simple, everyday, and even slightly funny scene. A strange but relaxing moment, one of those where nothing important happens, but it still feels good to be there, comfortable and uncomplicated.
