Want some milk?
On a quiet afternoon, Helena prepares a bottle of warm milk in the kitchen and goes to the living room to offer it to Lia. After a long and fruitless attempt to convince her, Lia simply refuses and walks away, leaving the step-mother alone with the ready bottle. Faced with the futility of wasting the food, Helena decides to offer the alternative to her oldest step-daughter, Sofia, who is twenty years old and entertained with her cell phone at the other end of the sofa.
After initially thinking her step-mother is joking and laughing at the unusual proposal, Sofia realizes Helena's total seriousness and ends up accepting the offer out of sheer practicality. However, Helena imposes a strict condition: to consume the milk, Sofia will have to leave her corner and lie down on her lap. After a brief hesitation, the young woman yields to the demand, lying down comfortably while Helena feeds her with the bottle, turning a common domestic refusal into a peaceful moment of family closeness.
