Description

Here is an 11:14 clip from my PedalPunker series. This pretty petite girl in sweaty Tom’s was tasked with getting the 74 Plymouth Scamp started. It’s on booster cables and the pressure to get it going was real. It was a hot day and everyone was miserable.

She goes absolutely nuts in a full-on rage pumping the gas pedal. Despite major flooding she gets it started revving the hell out of it. However when she tries to restart it, she floods badly, grinds the starter and the starter finally burns up making an acrid smell.

The Scamp was known for eating starters but luckily it’s on top of the Slant 6 engine, very easy for me to swap out!

She calms down and tells us about her real car trouble experiences where she has definitely pumped the gas pedal before!
