As Maria opens the door of the vintage VW Polo and slips inside, she unknowingly sets the stage for a full-blown starting nightmare.
Wearing a fitted pink top, a long denim skirt, and black patent stiletto heels, Maria settles into the seat and—without thinking—pulls the choke all the way out. A mistake. One she doesn’t realize she’s made… and one that slowly floods the engine with every crank.
She turns the key. The engine sputters—coughs—flashes with hope. But it won’t start.
Over the next 9 minutes, Maria stays calm but increasingly flustered as the Polo teases her relentlessly. The engine never goes silent—it keeps flirting with her, sputtering to life before cutting out again and again. She never touches the choke again. Just keeps trying, unaware she’s making things worse.
The camera captures it all: the sound of her pleading voice, the close-ups of her foot and her hand on the key, the little sighs and glances around the quiet lot. It’s a soft, sensual struggle with a real, mechanical bite—and you’ll feel every moment of her growing frustration.
