Pump that Pedal

Detective Vivian is hot on the trail of some bad guys and makes a stop at a location that might have some clues. Her partner gave Vivian the details as well as a beater car to blend in with the locals. She enters the empty parking lot and parks the car. She gets out and walks off to go fetch some clues. Meanwhile, unknown to Vivian, someone approaches her vehicle, pops the hood and pulls the coil wire.
Vivian returns to her car after not finding much, which is odd since her partner told her she had reason to believe some solid evidence would be found. As Vivian gets situated, she's curious why her partner gave her this car because the area doesn't look that beat up. It may not be the safest place but still, odd. She's about to start the car when she gets a text message. She reads it aloud, "You were getting too close to the truth. It was either you or me."
Vivian realizes her partner sold her out! She's got to get out of here! She turns the key to the engine and it just spins over. "Oh my god. Fuck me!" She tries again, desperately pumping the gas pedal and begging the car to start! It's not starting at all and it won't start because she's been sabotaged! She aggressively pumps the pedal in a futile attempt to bring the car to life. At one point, she holds the pedal to the floor with such her butt comes off the seat. "Come on, start!!" she screams at the car.
She takes a glance behind her and sees a car approaching and begins to panic, they found her! She's looking over her shoulder as she frantically cranks the car over and over and over and.... *video fades out*

"Are you in?" Vivian asks her step-son who is looking at her from the back seat. She shuts the door and then gets in the car herself. Her step-son is watching her from the small gap between the seats as she tries starting the car. It doesn't start after the first couple of tries so she takes a moment to put her seat belt on and to give the car a quick rest. She sweetly talks to you to try and keep you calm while the car isn't starting. She knows you get nervous and embarrassed, so she looks at you through the rear-view mirror and talks to you so you don't cry.
She keeps trying to get the car started and with a picture-in-picture view of her upper body and face from the front windshield, you get to see her facial expressions throughout the entire video. She gets the car started in the end so that she can finally go!

Someone is out for revenge and sabotage's Jane's car. She's driving along and finds her brakes aren't working when approaching a stop sign. She panics and freaks out while pumping the brakes! She tries using the parking brake as well and that seems to help enough to bring the car to a stop. She gets on the phone to explain what happened while pumping the brake continuously.

Filmed from various angles on both the drivers and passenger side, Britney teases you while she's cranking this flooded out Chevy Monte Carlo. The last segment is from the drivers side as she desperately keeps trying to get the car to start as the battery is getting slower and slower. She pumps aggressively, as if trying to pump the car into submission but she loses this battle.

The girls are coming back to the car after stopping by the store. Brooke gets behind the wheel, gives the gas a few and goes to start the car but it doesn't start on the first try. She pumps it some more and tries again but it still doesn't start. She's wearing brown strappy sandals with a cute blue dress but it's still hot out. She tries again and the car sputters some but doesn't start. Now she's getting a bit embarrassed. She keeps trying while Jane is also getting a bit flustered at the situation. She thinks they might be low on gas. They nervously laugh after the car keeps acting like it wants to start but fails to get going. Brooke tries hiding behind the steering wheel to hid her face because it's only a matter of time before someone walks up on them.

Brooke kicks off her shoes and tries cranking it barefoot. She gets the car to sputter more often now and she pumps it fast with her full leg to try and keep it going. After a few cycles of this, the engine runs and she revs it a few times to clear it out. She heads out of the parking lot to go to a gas station but Jane notices that it shows they have half a tank. Brooke wonders why it wouldn't crank but whatever, she's thirsty so she's going to stop by the store on the way home to get a drink. She parks it at the store and slips her shoes back on and runs in. While she's gone, Jane decides she'll drive the rest of the way and slides across the seat behind the wheel.

Brooke is walking back and as she's getting in, Jane goes to fire up the car but it doesn't start... great! She pumps it some and tries again...nope. Brooke cracks open her drink as Jane notices there's a cop across the street from them. She tries the car again and again but the damn thing is flooded, dammit! She takes off her shawl to reveal her sexy little dress and legs a bit more but also because she's getting hot from being nervous at this car and the cop. By now, the cop has left, or so she thinks. While she's trying to get her flooded car cranked over the next few times, the cop has worked his way behind the girls and at the last second, Jane notices he's coming up to them and quickly slips her seat belt on. Ironically, this is also the time she got the car started but in her nervousness to get her seat belt on she let the engine stall.
Cop: " Broke down? "
Jane: " No. It's just giving me a little--it's sputtering but just not going. It does this every once-in-a-while when it's hot out. "

The cop leaves and Jane can go back to her focus on getting the car started. She ends up taking her shoes off since it seemed to work for Brooke and after the next couple of tries, she gets the engine to fire up! She revs it a few times and goes to leave, finally! But the cop is back where he was before, so as she pulls up to the exit of the parking lot, she mumbles that hopefully the car doesn't conk out on her right here in front of the cop.
The car, in fact, does conk out.
Brooke: " HAHAHAHAHAHA did it go hahaha "
Jane: " Yes! Right in front of the cop, maaan! "

Jane gets it fired up in the next couple of tries and pulls out, nervously waving and smiling to the cop as Brooke is laughing hard!! They arrive back home.

Scenario: VIP is my neighbor and I'm the next door that she gives a ride to school most mornings. I'm in the house when she knocks on the door to see if I'm ready to go. She sweetly asks what's wrong as I'm noticeable anxious. She helps me look for my crayons but after a quick search and nothing found, she says we have to go.
We enter to the car and put seat belt on, safety first! She goes to start the car but it doesn't start. She talks to me about school stuff as she keeps trying to get the car started. She tries the whole time but is never able to get the car started. It sputters and flutters like it wants to start but she can't seem to get it unflooded.
Ok, it's not going to start, so she has to hurry to get you to the bus stop.

Someone cut the brakes to Cassandra's car. She walks to her car, starts it up and backs out of the driveway without noticing the puddle of brake fluid left on the ground. Shes' driving for a bit and notices the brakes are feel a bit different but isn't thinking the worst. It's not until her brakes go out entirely that panic sets in. The Script:

The video picks up with DD walking from the store after picking up some items she needed to get started on tonight's dinner. She's nervously looking over her shoulder because several times she noticed a weird looking man starring at her as she walked through the aisles of the store. Clearly this made her uncomfortable so she rushed to pick up what she needed and left. As she gets closer to her car her steps begin to pick up in pace a little until she reaches it. She gets in, locks the door, and sticks the keys in the ignition. However, when Diana turns the key, her car just spins over and over giving no signs of starting. Already suffering from a stressful day at work and knowing that this is probably not the right time to be doing this she softly pleads for the car to start, after which, it still refuses to do anything.

After a bit of cranking DD notices the man whom was watching her slowly walk out of the store and over to his old, rusty brown truck. The whole time while walking he's looking at her trying to get her car started which is creeping her out even more. Finally after thrashing the gas pedal to the floor numerous times, Diana manages to get her car started. After some good revving to clear it up a bit she throws the car into gear and speeds out of the parking lot.

Driving for a while eases DD's tension and allows her to relax, but it doesn't last long as after she makes a turn she glances into the rear-view mirror and spots the man in his old truck following her. She doesn't get too alarmed but she does speed up a bit. After making a few more turns, she notices he makes them also; so now, Diana knows that she's being followed and lays into the gas at every opportune time! Eventually her hasty driving allows her to lose her suspicious follower but another problem arises when she glances down at her dashboard and notices that she is extremely low on gas, which isn't going to be enough to get her home. In her paranoia Diana forgot that she needed to go get gas after leaving the store, so this will require her to pull over to a gas station.

Riding on fumes, she pulls up and prepares to make the last turn down the road before she gets to the gas station but unfortunately her car stalls out on her. Not wanting the weirdo in the truck to catch up, she immediately begins to try and get her car started again. Diana does manage to get it going before her follower can catch up to her and then she proceeds down the road until she reaches the gas station. She pulls up to a pump, turns the car off, and leans back in her seat giving off a sigh of relief. She gets out of the car to pump gas as the camera fades out.

Camera fades back in as she's getting back in after filling her car up. Full on gas, Diana cranks up and proceeds to pull out of the gas station. As she prepares to turn out, she is terrified to find that the man with his old brown truck is sitting on side of the road as if waiting for her to leave! Seeing this she stomps on the gas pedal out of the gas station as her relentless follower pulls out and continues his crazy pursuit of our beautiful model. Tense as ever, Diana doesn't know what to do because she doesn’t want to go home to let him find out where she lives but she also doesn't want to get caught driving all over the place at the chance of getting lost with this maniac following her. To make matters worse, she has to come to a stop at a stop sign where her car decides it’s a good idea to stall with the man and his old truck right on her rear bumper! She urgently tries to get her car started but all it does is tease her as if it was going to start but then sputter back out. Fed up with her cars shenanigans she slams the gas pedal to the floor and holds it there while cranking, which after a few more hesitations, finally roars the engine to life. Not giving her car a chance to stall back out, Diana quickly shifts to drive and floors the gas pedal!

Diana manages separate herself from the old rusty truck after driving like a mad woman. This gives her time to think and eventually she remembers that she has a friend whom lives in the area which would be the perfect place to duck off for a bit, but the only problem would be making it there as her car has proved not to be the most reliable of things today. Just when Diana thinks she's home free she turns down a lane when halfway down her car just coughs and gives out. At the worst possible place and knowing that her follower could be still on her trail, Diana desperately fights to get her car started again. Still struggling to get her car to start chills go down her spine when she sees the man in his old truck zooming by in her rear-view. Feeling partially relieved that he may not have seen her, she continues to try and get her car started but this time neither thrashing nor holding it down seems to work.

After a while, with no luck, she does something that she knows she probably shouldn’t do, but left with no other options, Diana pops the hood and hops out of her car to see if she can fix the problem under the hood. After some tinkering, Diana thinks she has found the problem, so she closes the hood and scurries back to her car gets in, locks the door and once again tries to get her car started. At first it is still unenthusiastic to start but eventually, whatever she did under the hood, mixed with some graceful pumping of the gas pedal, manages to get the old engine to fire up and not a moment too soon as the crazy guy in his truck just turned into the lane behind her! Wasting no time she quickly throws it in gear and takes off and doesn't stop until she reaches her friend's house.

The video finally comes to an end as she pulls up to her destination and puts the car in park while she proceeds to massaging her head trying to ease the stress this situation caused. She gathers herself and grabs her phone to call her friend to let them know that she is outside. With no sign of the weird man and his old truck, Diana is extremely relieved that this whole situation is over, or is it??

Kristen tries hard to start the old Dodge but it ain't startin! Lots of cranking packed into this clip as she tries over and over and over again. Filmed from the drivers side at first then from the passenger side. Her facial expression tells it all as she has had enough of this piece of car.

The Script:

Story: Jane and her friend are making a run down to the corner store. But her step-mom has taken her car so she decides to take the 1972 VW Super Beetle. Unfortunately, it's a pain to start! Jane is wearing a tshirt, jeans that are flared or boot-cut and no shoes.

Scene 1:
(outside) Jane and the camera walk toward the cars. She stops: "Oh, damnit! My step-mom took my car again! She's been having problems with hers - I just WISH she'd TELL me that she going to take it!" (pause) She looks around. "All right, we'll take my step-sister's Bug. She wants me to drive it anyway while she's on vacation. I THINK I have the key for it with me..." She checks the keyring. "Yeah, here it is."

They walk to the car and get in.

Scene 2:
(in the car) Jane puts the key in the ignition. " Okay ," she says, " let me get the seat adjusted to I can reach the pedals." She adjusts the seat and gives the pedals a couple test pushes.

" There we go... " she says. She puts her foot on the gas and gives it a few pumps. She cranks it, but it doesn't fire. She pumps it again and cranks it, but it won't fire.

" Shoot, it hasn't been driven it in a while.. ." she says " Guess I'm gonna have to pump it a bit... " She gives the gas a few pumps and cranks. She starts pumping the gas, but it doesn't start. She tries again, but it won't start.

" It's always kinda hard to get it to start when it's been sitting, " She cranks it again, pumping. " I just have to keep pumping it and it'll start eventually, " she says.

She cranks it again, pumping the gas, saying, " C'mon, baby. " but it doesn't start. She tries it again without success. She tries again, still with no success.
She cranks again, saying, " C'mon, baby, you can do it... " but it won't fire.

" Okay, I THINK it's going to start... " she says. " It's just stubborn sometimes... " She pumps the gas a few time and cranks. She pumps it, says, " C'mon, I know you wanna start... ", but it doesn't. She tries again. But it still won't start. " I hope I'm not flooding it..., " she says. " I think I smell gas. Do you smell gas? Sometimes it floods really easy, but that's only when it's hot. Maybe it's flooded... "

Se cranks it, holding the gas down. " When it floods, it'll usually starts if I hold the gas pedal on the floor... " It doesn't start. She tries again, flooring the gas. But it still isn't starting. She finally gives up and asks if there's anything else you'd like to do today since you both are stuck there.

Shooting directions:
Shooting should mostly from a passengers' POV, and be you usual style with lots of good shots of Jane's feet on the pedals and foot shots. Dialog is suggested, ad-libbing is okay.

She's scoping out the parking lot to see if there is a car to boost for tonight's job. She's dressed casual so she can blend in to her surroundings. She's wearing a black turtleneck, black leather jacket, tight jeans and white Reebok princess sneakers. She just looks like another soccer step-mom stopping by the store before heading home.
Finally, she spots her target which is an orange Camaro. She walks up to it casually, checks it out quickly and slips on her gloves to begin the breaking and entering part. Once her tight leather gloves are on, she pulls out her tools and picks the lock. Once in the car, she immediately goes to work on the ignition and gets the car started up. She pulls out of the parking spot and quickly but calmly, makes her exit. She smiles and enjoys the drive in the hot car with a 6-speed manual transmission. She shifts through the gears with her leather gloved hands and works the pedals in her white Reeboks. She gets on it a bit because she loves powerful cars and the sound they make. She fiddles with the knobs and buttons to test everything out. She arrives at the safe-house and parks the car. She gets out and gives Scarlet a call to tell her the job for tonight is on and while she couldn't find a BMW or Mercedes to use, she did find a hot Camaro that'll work just fine.

She's dressed up and ready to go but her car has other plans.
She gets in the car, slides the key into the ignition, teases her hair and checks her lipstick before starting the car. You can hear her boot pump the gas a time or two before she spins the engine over. She cranks it for a few seconds but it doesn't catch. She tries it again, lightly pumping the gas as to not flood it but it still doesn't catch. Okay, it's getting warm, she rolls down the window and then tries again...damn, still won't start! She's getting annoyed with the car and holds the pedal to the floor to see if that helps...nope, car still won't start.
"Come on!" she snaps and cranks the car again. The battery isn't very strong but it is spinning the engine over but probably too slow for it to catch. All she's doing is pumping more and more gas into the carb, flooding it more with each attempt. Fiddling with the choke, holding the pedal to the floor, pumping the pedal, begging the car, yelling at the car...nothing works and her fate is sealed when she finally drains the battery dry.

She just wanted to run out and get some grub, little did she know it would turn into a constant fight and struggle with the old Chevy Monte Carlo. Wearing a tank top, jeans and flip flops, she hops in the car to leave but it doesn't start up right away. After a handful of tries, it starts and sounds like it's good to go. She backs up out of the driveway and the car stalls in the road. Maybe it's not quite ready yet to go anywhere but she's in the road, so she can't wait. She gets it started after a few more tires and pulls away only to have it stall again on her while she's trying to 2-foot it. She's stuck at the stop sign, not 100 feet from her house and her car isn't starting. She seriously should've taken this as a sign of things to come because her situation worsens as the car stalls on her while driving, stopped at red lights, stop signs and even in the drive-thru where she went to get food. I takes her almost 4 minutes to get her piece of junk cranked back up when it stalls on her after ordering. She flooded the thing out so bad that the gas-rich exhaust blown to the car behind her to back up. Lots of cars had to go around her at one of the busy intersections, no one even offered to help this hot chick in an old beater...assholes!
In between the stalling and cranking, she drives through traffic and side streets to get to her favorite bbq place.

You're step-mom, Gina, has stopped by some house and you're waiting in the car for her. You see her coming back but something's wrong. She's in a hurry and cutting through the bushes to get to the car. She fights with the door to get it open, climbs in and says, "Alright, baby, we gotta get outta here!" She goes to start the car and leave but it doesn't start. She pumps on the gas in black leather boots and tries again... "Come on!" and it still doesn't start. She calmly looks at you and tells you everything will be fine. She tries again to start the car but damn, it still isn't starting!
"Lock your doors, baby. Baby, lock your doors!"
She's begging the car to start but trying to stay calm for you. She keeps reassuring you that it's okay but then someone appears in front of the car. Maybe it's the guy she was trying to get away from earlier? She rolls up the windows, makes sure the doors are locked and keeps trying to start the car but it's so flooded now from her pumping too much in her tall leather boots with a flat heel that she's not going to be able to get away! She sees something in her rear-view mirror...YES!! Help has arrived!! She breathes a sigh of relief and yells to the mystery guy that he's in trouble now!

She looks over and notices you're really enjoying the fact that she can't get her car started. In fact, you might be enjoying it a bit too much, as she notices your 'issue'. She smiles, shrugs it off and keeps cranking the car over while pumping the gas and begging for it to start. She's flustered and slightly embarrassed by the fact that her struggle is having such an impact on you. She sees you glancing down at her shiny patent pumps pumping the gas pedal to try and give the engine enough gas to start but not too much where it floods out.
She's getting a bit hot now, as are you, and she needs to take her leather jacket off. When she does, you can't help but notice the sexy cut-out part right on her chest which reveals her amazing cleavage. You're now getting really excited as she keeps trying. Her legs wrapped in tight jeans bob up and down on the seat from the pumping which causes her upper body to bounce up and down as whines about the damn car not starting!
She finally gives up and looks at you to tell you the car just isn't going to crank and you need to find another ride.

She opens the garage door and is walking down the steps when she sees that the old Camaro was parked blocking her nice Camaro in the garage. "Why does he always park this damn thing here?!"she wonders and stomps around the car to get in and move it. It's a pain to start, which is why she hates it when it's blocking her in. She gets in, adjusts the seat and tries firing it up. It sputters some as she pumps it a few times and after a while, she gets it to somewhat run but it stalls out as she's working the gas to warm it up. She does eventually get it running and lightly revs it to keep it from stalling as the video fades out.

She's walking through a parking lot to find the perfect car to add to her collection. She comes across a new Cadillac sitting all by itself and decides, "That's the one!" When she gets to the car, she looks around and pulls out her leather gloves and slips them on. She hacks into the cars computer to unlock the doors. She gets in and goes to work on the ignition. The car starts up, success!! She quickly makes her way out of the parking lot and starts driving the car back to the hideout. She fiddles with the buttons, knobs and levers with her leather gloves. She also punches it from time to time to see what the car is made of and how it responds.
When she gets to the hideout, she makes a walk around the car to admire her latest acquisition.
