Scenario
She is sitting on a chair with her right leg crossed over her left leg, dangling her flip flop, when she gets a call from a friend. The friend invites her to an afternoon of bowling, and she giddily accepts the offer. She mentions that her car is in the shop, but her step-dad’s car is available, so she’ll try driving that, even though it’s a stick shift.

Start off with a full body shot of her sitting on the chair during her phone call and have a close up of her right hand as she grabs the Volvo’s keys. She then walks out of the house and over to the Volvo.

When she gets inside, she rubs her hands on the steering wheel and says “ Alright Volvo, a friend has invited me to go bowling and I would like to have some fun. Please start for me “.
She then, looking into the camera, says “ If I remember what Step-dad said correctly, I have to pump the gas, push in the clutch, and then it should start “. Have an upper body shot of her as she says that and a lower body shot of her feet during the first two cranking attempts.

In between the 2nd and 3rd cranking session, have an upper body shot of here while she says “ Oops, let me try this again “.

She then proceeds to crank the Volvo more, sweet talking and coaxing it, hoping that will encourage it to start. In the middle of the cranking session, have an upper body shot when she says “ I really need you to start, you don’t want me to be tired before I get there “.

Have a mix of upper and lower body shots as she cranks the car for about 3 minutes. When she eventually gets it started, have an upper body shot of her giddily clapping her hands. She then proceeds to rev the car for a minute while smiling and giggling. At the end, she says, “ Alright, it’s time to drive to the bowling alley, do you want to come along for the ride? “.

**She can’t drive a stick that well and since she was having a hard time getting it into gear, we modified the script to where she decides to take her dads other car, the Camaro. She swaps the keys out, the Camaro fires right up and she backs it up out of the parking spot. She gives it a quick rinse before heading out.**

While she is at the end of the driveway, she says “ You know how Jason Aldean once sang about putting your pretty pink toes on the dash? I will one-up him and put my pretty pink toes on the gas “. After saying this, she decides to listen to music and enjoys listening to Poison’s “Nothing But A Good Time” while driving to the bowling alley.

Have a mix of upper and lower body shots while she is driving. When she gets there, she turns the car off and says “ Thank you for working for me and allowing my fun afternoon to be possible .” She kisses her hand and pats the dashboard (similar to Hana in custom #460) as the camera fades.

The PiP view should be underneath the drivers seat, with the same view that was used in custom #1292 and #1356.

Outfit & Shoes
If Persephone owns high top Converse All Stars, I would like her to wear them. If heaven allows, that she has more than one pair, then I might order more than one video and I’d like to see them to pick if at all possible. She can wear what she believes naturally goes best with them with her sense of style and I would be fine with that.
If she doesn’t have high top Converse All Stars, then high top Vans will also work, or knock-offs of either of those. If she has high top Adidas or Nike, I’d have to see them first. If she doesn’t have high tops, if she owns low top Converse All Stars or knock-offs, that would work, but not as preferred.

Vivian wearing those in the Coronet for my custom video is one of my absolute favorite videos, my god! Between her, the car, those shoes and the setting, it doesn’t get better.

Scenario
Since you state no driving, then cranking, otherwise if a little ‘driveway’ driving is allowed, then cranking and stalling.

I would like it to start with a trailing camera, following her to her car, as close as a full body shot allows then entering the vehicle with the camera then shooting from the passenger view. She could start with a little flat cranking, then cranking that flutters and sounds like it might catch, but just doesn’t. If stalling is allowed, then I would like it to catch after 2-1/2 minutes or so and have her start down the driveway only to have it stall (love to see the red lights come on) and have her struggle with it again, almost catching but then flat cranking at the very end with her giving up and looking in the camera and saying I think we’re stuck.

If the battery is low (nearing flat, but not necessarily going flat), that would be a bonus. If she looks into the camera at times, apologizing for it not starting, that would be great. If she needs to fumble with the choke to get the car to ‘misbehave’ properly, that’s fine.

Scenario

Camera Angle: Full Backseat View

Not panicking at all, she turns the key again and slowly angles her foot toward the gas pedal to give the Cadi a couple of “love taps” to get her old girl started. Again, no dice.

Again, cool as a cucumber Vivian begins to crank and gingerly pump the gas pedal slowly and only a few times per crank. Her pumping style is calm, confident and careful. In fact, she barely creases the toe of her shoe when pumping and occasionally holds the gas pedal down in hopes the beast will kick over.

Restart Attempt II – (2 minutes) Camera Angle: Backseat view – (Closer)
After a few minutes of unsuccessful tries. Vivian begins to look a little annoyed and begins to softly whisper to the Cadi, asking for its cooperation.

This time, Vivian employs the slowly hold the pedal down while cranking method with a clear look of disgust and disappointment on her face. She can’t believe her car is causing such a scene!

Between cranks, she quickly looks around to ensure none of her colleagues are around to witness this embarrassing ordeal.

Start Up and Rev – (1 minute) Camera Angle: Backseat view – (Closer)
On the third set of tries, the Cadi finally kicks over and Vivian proceeds to mash the gas to the floor, as a form of passive punishment. She softly curses the car under her breath for making such a fuss. After a few angry revs, she puts the car in gear and glides off to the office.

Scenario

Title: Persephone’s Project Car

Scenario: Persephone is excited about her Monte Carlo project car that she’s been working on for months. She’s sunk a ton of time and money into her Monte and she’s vlogging the first start up for her loyal social media followers.

– First Attempt – (1 minute)
Persephone is recording herself with a handheld camera or cell phone as she walks to the Monte Carlo and gets in the driver’s seat.

The camera is aimed at her feet as she walks toward the car. She can hardly contain her excitement as she opens the driver’s side door and prepares to start it for the first time!

Shooting from her POV, she narrates as she slips the key into the ignition and gives the car a few dry pumps before turning the ignition. She explains that her Step-mom told her that she may need to pump the gas pedal on these older cars when they’re cold so she proudly shares this tidbit with her followers before twisting the key.

After a couple of dry pumps, she turns the key while shooting her foot pumping the gas as the Monte cranks. Knowing it’s the first start up, she is patient and does not panic, while giving the gas pedal slow, steady pumps as she cranks it a few times.

Unfortunately the Monte cranks but does not kick over, leaving Persephone a little embarrassed. She turns the camera toward her and explains that she might need to make some adjustments. She then stops the handheld shooting. (Hard Cut)

– Start Attempt II – (2 minutes)
Take Two! Persephone has mounted the camera in the backseat so she can have her hands free, while getting the Monte to turn over. The stationary camera is already running as we see Persephone come from behind the hood and enter the driver’s seat.

Persephone hops in the driver’s seat and looks back at the camera to explain to her followers that she thinks she’s figured out what was wrong. She gives the car a couple of dry pumps before turning the key.

The Monte cranks and cranks as Persephone calmly pumps the gas pedal while cranking, being cautious not to flood it. She occasionally holds the gas pedal down while cranking also hoping it will fire up.

The Monte cranks and occasionally sputters and coughs as though it’s trying to turn over but no dice.

After several attempts, Persephone stops cranking and turns to the camera a bit frustrated but not defeated. She says, “I think I know what’s happening..” before stopping the camera. (Hard Cut)

– Start Attempt III – (2 minutes)
Persephone has now mounted the camera just outside the driver’s side door as we rejoin her attempt to get the Monte fired up.

Persephone enters the driver’s seat and smiles at the camera as she says “The third time’s the charm!” She places her foot on the gas pedal and holds it down as she turns the key.

The Monte cranks and coughs but doesn’t catch. Persephone continues her hold the pedal down approach for a few cranks. She then becomes a bit frustrated and starts pumping the pedal more rapidly, but still without stomping or getting worked up.

The Monte finally fires up and Persephone shrieks with joy as she gingerly revs the engine. She then smiles to the camera while waving before signing off.

"Looks like the lil guy conked out right at the end of the driveway earlier and now, after letting it sit for a bit, Vivian is going to see if she can get it started and moved. She slips off her flip flops when she gets in the car and pumps the gas with her barefoot. Lots of chugging in this clip while she really tries her best to feather and pump the gas just right to get it to run smoothly ...which never happens.

That was perfect! Please have a lot of closeups of her pumping the gas pedal.

Scenario
The Volvo (or Jeep) has run out of gas arriving home but Vivian has no idea since the gas gauge unknowingly failed yesterday.

Day 1: The Stall (Fall office wear with new black flat mules)
You’re home from work and head to the Volvo to park it for the day after taking some heavy items into the house. It was running rough and stalled before you turned it off but you figured that was the Volvo being the Volvo. You attempt to restart it but it’s showing little to no signs of restarting. You figure it’s flooded but holding the pedal to the floor isn’t working so you decide to stop flooring the pedal and start pumping it. This is weird, even for the Volvo, so you begin to pump a little faster and longer but it’s no use. Figuring it just needs a break from the long drive, you decide to leave it there and hope for the best in the morning.

Day 2: Cold Start Fail (Warm office wear with the new tan flat slides)
The Volvo gave an epic fight yesterday so you’re not taking chances, especially considering you are on your last strike at work for being late. You just got in the Volvo already dressed for work but still need to do your hair. You decide to try warming up the Volvo early so you just slid into your new braided slides. It’s a good sign at first because the Volvo is sputtering to start but it soon settles into a steady cranking. You’re pumping but you don’t smell fuel at all. You know it’s not flooded ...it actually sounds like it’s out of gas? But the gauge says half so you decide to pump a little faster than normal, your foot rhythmically lifting off and back onto the pedal each time, with each attempt causing you to try a little longer. After another epic struggle, you give up and hurry inside to finish your hair, get into your heel slides and pray that it isn’t what you think it is.

Chapter 3: Start it or Fired (Same outfit but with the new silver and black heel slides)
You’re back in the Volvo and now you know not to worry about flooding it. You go to war, cranking and pumping as the Volvo just cranks and sounds completely out of gas. You don’t know what else to do. The gauge must be lying but, more importantly, you ABSOLUTELY CANNOT BE LATE. You try pumping desperately, knowing that each failed attempt is that much closer to trouble. Finally, you decide to stop. You throw yourself back in the seat, let out a sigh and declare “Sooo, yeah, I’m totally fired”. You end the video with a final, fading cranking and fast pumping attempt.

– I’ll order and send the black mules asap.

– Because it’s colder, please have Vivian start from inside the car. She can just open or close the door to signal fade to black.

Scenario
Vivian shows up to take me on a date. We get in the Monte and she has a little trouble starting it. After a handful of tries and some soft begging she gets it started. We drive to go see a movie and when we are done she has a hell of a time getting her Monte to cooperate. I don’t need to see any driving, the second scene can start with us getting back into the car.
I want Vivian to do her own thing but please incorporate below:
Vivian loves her Monte and knows it’s stubborn but she knows how to handle the situation. I would like her demeanor to be a sexy and confident sometimes showing some sexy desperation as she battles her Monte. She should coax, beg, and sweet talk the car the entire time. She can ad lib but please use phrases below.
Phrases to use:
Come on baby
Come on baby start for step-momma
C’mon honey
That’s it sweetie, start for me
A couple times throughout the scene she should look at me and say something about the situation:
She’s being stubborn huh?
Don’t worry, she’s just a little flooded. Sometimes I need to sweet talk her into starting for me.
She did this to me at the post office yesterday.
During this second scene I would like nice long cranks (10-25 seconds), she can manipulate the pedal to keep the engine right on the verge of starting. She gets it started a few times and tries to back it out of the parking spot only to have it stall on her. Each time it stalls it’s back to hard starting with long cranking. She manipulates the monte perfectly in video 1302a. I especially like when it starts after a long crank and chugs/winds down into a false start. Finally she gets it out of the parking spot and puts it into drive to take off. It stalls again. After one final long crank and some nice hard revving she is able to take off.
Camera angle – passenger side dash so I can see her whole body, bouncing boobs/leg and her turning the key.

Outfit & Shoes
Outfit = Vivian’s choice for comfort but don’t block the ankle area. Makeup = optional, not paying for face shots per say (models decision). Prefer no toe nail polish. No hosiery or socks please. Shoes from the size 6 assortment = red heel sandals (single strap with ankle band), OR the low heeled pair of wooden heel black slides, OR red heeled pumps if available ? (did not see any on the menu) Let Vivian select which ever pair works best for ankle only comfort pumping, her choice.

Scenario
{Cranking no start video only. Rig car not to start. Take brake & clutch out of play. Maximize camera shots from back seat and/or footwell and down the leg shots. Use your creative genius and experience, for you are the best camera person on the web. No pedal poking pumping please. Do old woman granny type slow, steady, and deliberate ankle flexing pumping only. No rock band drummer action wanted, make it easy on Vivian !!. Want to see dry pumping at least 15 between short 3-5 second cranks with gas pedal floored during cranking. Shoe placement with heel on floor about an inch from the bottom left base of the gas pedal with heel at 7:00 and toe towards 1:00 more or less. Want to see top of pedal.} Scenario — This can be called “Vivian’s Inherited Clunker”. She inherited it from her grandmother who struggled to cold start it with at least 15-20 dry pumps (no wet pumping or use very limited wet pumping please) until it would even think about starting (have Vivian say that). If it is within budget ??, you can incorporate some “smart @$$” banter and comments from step daughter in the passenger seat (like Hana & Mari in the 3 part Volvo vid from years ago). You can be creative on dialogue with Vivian muttering out loud by saying ” Granny always said it would start eventually if it was pumped enough between cranks” or something like that. Close out by Vivian giving up and getting out with a door slam. Go ahead and be creative and tweak things a bit if needed, you are the expert.

For Persephone: Jeans, jacket (leather will be a prefer choice, but if she doesn’t have a leather jacket it can be whatever jacket she will feel comfortable in for the January weather in Alabama), casual boots over jeans (by casual I mean boots she would normally wear on a daily basis), and it doesn’t matter what kind of shirt she wears.
For Vivian: Any color blouse, black skirt with pantyhose, black pumps, and black leather jacket.

Scenario
Persephone is at the DMV trying to get her driver’s license and needs to pass the driving test in order to get her license. Vivian is the DMV car instructor.

The beginning of the video starts out after Persephone and Vivian have just walked out of the DMV front door and are walking to Persephone’s car in the parking lot. Vivian is seen carrying a clipboard in her hand to grade Persephone’s driving skills. Vivian is playing the part of a DMV worker that needs a vacation and has an attitude. So, when they’re walking to the car Vivian never smiles, and her expression should be like she doesn’t care and wants to go home. Persephone is playing someone that is getting her license for the first time. As Persephone is walking to the car, she should be looking slightly nervous (as if she were doing a job interview) but optimistic at the same time, because she wants to impress Vivian on her driving. They both get inside Persephone’s car, with Persephone behind the wheel, and Vivian riding shotgun. The camera inside the car is filming them from the back seat, with the view still being able to focus on Persephone turning the key and pumping the gas pedal, and to see Vivian dangling her right pump, as Vivian keeps her legs crossed the entire video with her clipboard in her hand taking notes during the cranking sessions. Before Persephone puts her seat belt on Vivian breaks the ice and says to Persephone, “I’m Vivian, I will be your driving instructor for the day. I’m supposed to say that to everyone, you know company policy” (again her character has such a negative attitude). Persephone is seen being a little taken aback from Vivian’s snarky attitude but doesn’t let it break her confidence in what she wants to accomplish and says, “My name is Persephone. I’m so excited to finally be getting my license.” Vivian then tells Persephone “Whenever you’re ready.” Persephone puts her seat belt on and readjusts the rear-view mirror. Persephone pumps the gas pedal three times before turning the key and pumps the gas while she cranks the car. The car never starts in this video. Whatever comes natural to her in how she wants to pump the gas pedal from here on out is fine. When the car doesn’t start on the first long try (long try as in 30 seconds), she looks over at Vivian with embarrassment. Persephone collects herself on the second try and again cranks it for another long crank, but this time as it struggles to catch, she softly pleads with it to start. After the second failed attempt, Vivian says to her, “You’re flooding it.” Persephone says to Vivian, “I’m sorry.” Persephone is so nervous and embarrassed at this point where she doesn’t listen to Vivian’s advice and pumps the pedal while cranking the car flooding it out even more. Persephone from the third try on and until the end of the video her cranking are always long cranks because she is so determined to get it to start but gives up by Vivian’s insults telling her to “Give it a rest; why did you want to use an old car to get your license in the first place; do you know how to start a car,” and more negative comments like that in between giving the starter a brief rest. Persephone answers Vivian saying things like, “I’m sorry; I’m trying; I know how to start a car, it’s my grandpa’s car.” Persephone should throughout the video plead with the car with a soft tone and saying things like “Please start for me; come on.” Vivian’s insults make Persephone get more and more sad when she tries to start the car. Closing out the video Vivian tells her, “Time is up for you today I’m afraid. You can come back and try to get your license another time. Do you know how to call AAA?” Persephone is full of disappointment and all she can say to Vivan is “I’m very sorry.” Vivian gets out of the car and shuts the door. Persephone cranks the car again after Vivian closes the door, and says to the car, “Come on baby please.” The video fades out with her refusing to give up and desperately still trying to get the car to start in hoping for a last-minute miracle.

Scenario

A clip which focuses about running out of gas

The clip starts as Vivian is driving the Beetle along the road with her stepdaughter on the passenger seat (she has a bent leg on the seat that she holds between her arms). It seems the mood is tense between them.

As they’re driving, her stepdaughter in a bad mood says “ I tell you again we’re lost .” to which Vivian sharply replies “ No we’re not .”

They keep driving and her stepdaughter says, “ We’re not gonna make it, look we’re out of gas .” pointing at the gas gauge.

Vivian answers “ We have enough gas, we’ll make it .” to which her stepdaughter sarcastically replies “ Yeah sure .” looking out the window.

They keep driving for several minutes. Several times, her stepdaughter, bored and moody repeats sarcastically/ironically that they’re lost and they’ll run out of gas soon and won’t make it.
"We’re on fumes! I'm sure we’ll be stranded! Look the car is running dry, we’re lost and soon we’ll be out of gas too!”

This scene is filmed if possible with the camera on the windshield/dashboard so that both can we be seen from the front. If it’s not possible, the scene is from the back seat.

The car rolls to a sop on the side of the road right in front of the camera. As the car stops Vivian tries to start the car several times begging it to start.

At a moment her stepdaughter eventually get out of the car in anger and stands in front of it telling Vivian, “I told you, we’re lost and now we’re out of gas! ”

Vivian quickly gets out of the car and stands in from of the car too telling her “ We would have had enough gas if we hadn’t gotten lost because of you! ” They keep yelling at each other, blaming one other, they can imagine their own dialogues.

From there you can film as you want by changing several times the camera angles

Vivian finally gets back in the car and tries again to start it begging her to start, tapping the gauge, smashing the steering wheel. Her daughter-in-law then stands next to her repeating to her that she won’t be able to start the car since they have no gas. Eventually, Vivian orders her daughter-in-law to get back on the passenger seat, which she does reluctantly.
They keep trying to start the car (they can imagine their own dialogues). Her stepdaughter even tries to start the car too but in vain.
Finally they give up, get out of the car and start walking along the side of the road while continuing to argue about running out of gas.

Vivian and her stepdaughter act in this clip like they’re on a bad mood.

**Interesting note about this video — the car really did run out of gas almost right on cue! We were maybe 200ft from where we were going to simulate the out-of-gas moment but the car started sputtering and their reaction was 100% authentic to the situation. Couldn’t have timed it better if we tried!

A clip which focuses about running out of gas

The clip starts as Vivian is driving the Beetle along the road with her stepdaughter on the passenger seat (she has a bent leg on the seat that she holds between her arms). It seems the mood is tense between them.

As they’re driving, her stepdaughter in a bad mood says “ I tell you again we’re lost .” to which Vivian sharply replies “ No we’re not .”

They keep driving and her stepdaughter says, “ We’re not gonna make it, look we’re out of gas .” pointing at the gas gauge.

Vivian answers “ We have enough gas, we’ll make it .” to which her stepdaughter sarcastically replies “ Yeah sure .” looking out the window.

Off driving thinking you may be getting followed. You look in mirror then punch the gas pedal to floor( real nice close of foot in action). The follower catches up. You look in mirror. Say to your self I had this floored as fast as it will go. You punch it again as if you are running through a yellow light. You make it safety. All lots of close up especially when working the pedal and the brakes.
