Thief's Reckoning 4: The Balloon Trap
Volume 4 in the "Thief's Reckoning" series: The cat burglars keep coming, and so must the traps! This time it's Melancholic's time to face the music.
The home is empty, and the stage is set. Melancholic pops up from behind the couch and does a nimble little roll before going through everything she can open. Suddenly she spots an antique chest across the room. Surely that must contain something valuable, right? Well, she's kind of right. As she opens the chest, she sets off a trap and with a loud "BANG", she's suddenly encased in a skintight semi-transparent latex balloon that immobilizes her from the neck down. She fights and struggles against the stretchy material, but escape seems less and less likely by the minute as her strength dwindles...
