Over many years they have worked together while he has secretly harbored desires for her that his professional creed wouldnt allow him to act on. All the while she meant more to him than just another subject. He thought he meant something to her also. Over time, her career slowed and she doesnt get the abundance of work that she used to. Desprate for the public attention, she decides to persue more stringent content as means of survival and when she tells him. He cant deal with it knowing there will be no coming back from that.
