THE FAVOR (2017)
Newcomer Mari shows why it’s always best to leave closed doors lie in this new title. She plays Veronica, a self-made woman who left her husband for more cash and greener pastures 4 years ago. Alan loved her dearly and continues to do things for her even though he has remarried. Last week he was helping her with a car issue and something happened between them as a means of her showing gratitude to him. He choose not to tell his new bride, but she has found out anyway from the footage captured by a traffic camera. She knows there won’t be a moment of peace as long as Veronica is in the picture. By pure coincidence, today Alan is helping her film a commercial for her pool care business. When the shoot runs long, Alan has to go inside to call work and tell them he will be a bit late. What he doesn’t know is Shelby is watching from afar. As soon as she sees veronica underwater and him inside the house, she solves the problem with the flip of a switch while creating unbreakable alibis for both of them.
