Megan Jones stars as a water-terrified wife who’s been more than a little bad. For some time, her husband has suspected her of cheating with the neighbor but couldn’t catch her in the act and couldn’t get her to admit it. One night he read that under a person is incapable of lying and decided to try to find a way to compel her to submit to being put under. Finally, in an act of desperation, he sent himself a bogus scuba vacation to the Caribbean in the hope that it would her to overcome her fear of water. He explained to her that all she had to do was be to forget her fear of water. As our story opens, for the sake of their marriage, she has agreed and he puts her under only to lear that his worst fears are realized and then he plants the suggestion to her that she is no longer afraid of the water but will once again regain her fear the second she hears the number three. He directs her into the water playing on the pool floor in a way she never could or would have before and when he has watched his fill, he shouts “Three†and she’s stuck weighted in the deep end of the pool unable to swim or save herself from the watery peril that is her greatest fear.
