Scream on Halloween unexpected turn
Samantha always associated Halloween night with coziness, dim lights, and her unfailing tradition—watching the cult horror film Scream. Her neighbor was well aware of this ritual and decided it was the perfect chance to pull off an unforgettable, albeit cruel, prank.
Taking advantage of her absence, he secretly snuck into her house. Dressed in black and armed with the famous, sinister Ghostface mask, he hid in the living room behind a heavy curtain, waiting for his prey.
Samantha returned soon after. Unsuspecting, she turned off the lights, settled into the soft sofa, and turned on the movie. The room filled with the familiar, unsettling sounds of the film. At the most tense moment on screen, when the atmosphere in the room reached a critical point, the curtain suddenly opened.
A masked figure leaped out of the darkness at the girl, screaming. The room turned into a nightmare. Samantha screamed desperately and tried to run for the exit, but her attacker intercepted her. A furious struggle ensued. Despite her resistance, the "ghost" gained the upper hand: he pinned her to the floor, bound her hands tightly, and covered her mouth with thick tape, preventing her from calling for help. Samantha froze on the couch, breathing heavily in terror and confusion.
What happened next completely baffled her. The attacker slowly removed his white mask. Beneath it lay the face of her neighbor.
While Samantha remained stunned and shocked by this treachery, the neighbor was in no hurry to untie her. Instead, he approached her and began slowly, with strange pleasure, running his hands over her rounded belly, touching her navel. She could only silently watch his incomprehensible actions, paralyzed by fear. Having satisfied his strange curiosity, the man just as suddenly pulled away. Without a word, leaving her helpless on the couch in the empty house, he simply turned and walked away, disappearing into the night.
Alone, Samantha struggled long and painfully against her bonds. Trying to free herself, she fell from the couch to the floor, overcoming the pain in her wrists. After some time, she finally managed to untie the knots and tear off the tape. Breathing heavily, she exhausted herself and sat back down on the couch. The TV screen still flickered, but the true horror she had just experienced left a much deeper and more indelible mark on her thoughts.
